Arkwright Designs is now marketing art by local water color artist Sue Clanton, who's renditions of water fowl, palm trees, florals, landscapes and wine theme paintings compliment our lifestyle here in Discovery Bay.



Sue began painting wine bottles and glasses when her sister and her husband returned from France with a bottle of Chateau LaRogue wine. She entered the painting in a judged art show and was commissioned to paint another, and from there her wine paintings were much sought after.



Every wine, glass, and bottle refract light differently just as every curve creates a different reflection on the subject matter. Her paintings are not just about the light and shadows but the life and vitality of the wine.
